Birding at Impala Park Sanctuary offers great opportunities for spotting various bird species, including both resident and migratory birds. Swamp Flycatcher, Double-toothed Barbet, Black-billed barbet, Red-chested Sunbird, Papyrus Gonolek, Little Bittern, Water Thicknee, Yellow-fronted Tinkebird, Eastern Grey Plantain-eater are among the notable bird species found in the sanctuary. Birders will also be able spot the African Fish Eagle, African Jacana, Malachite Kingfisher, Pied Kingfisher, Greater Swamp Warbler and many more.
