Our African, Luo heritage and knit family have seen us travel through the African bush for many years in search of numerous bird species while at the same time meeting local host communities and appreciating wildlife with positive attitude.

Ouma Oluoko is the CEO of Oluokos Signature, a travel and lifestyle luxury safari brand that focuses on eco-friendly and sustainable tourism. He is a highly experienced birding safari guide, walking safari specialist, conservationist, and tour operator with a deep passion for environmental conservation and responsible travelin eastern and central Africa.
Ouma’s journey began in 2003 when he set up a small walking safari outfit in the touristic town of Naivasha, Kenya where he was born. Over time, his niche enterprise grew, driven by his love for walking and bird-watching safaris. He has worked extensively in East and Central Africa, including countries like Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Ouma is known for his strong interpersonal skills, which enable him to build rapport with clients, fellow safari outfitters, staff guides, community guides, government administrators and the community at large. His dedication to promoting sustainable tourism and conservation has made Oluokos Signature a trusted name in the luxury travel industry
Awuor Oluoko is a prominent figure associated with Oluokos Signature as the Operations’ Director. She is known for her passion for nature, bird-watching, and sustainable tourism. Away from the wilderness and office chores, she is know to be and excelllence with doing signature meals and quite hospitable whenever we have guests around who would love to come for the dinning with Oluokos experience.
Awuor is actively involved in promoting eco-friendly travel experiences and community engagement through Oluokos Signature. She frequently shares her love for the wilderness and her commitment to responsible luxury tourism on social media platforms and during our regular office or virtual meetings.
