Upon your arrival, you will be received by our English-speaking representative at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport arrivals hall. Our representative will walk you through the welcome package documents, and your itinerary and answer any questions you may have. You will enjoy a complimentary private transfer from the airport to your hotel.
This morning after spending a relaxed night at the hotel, you will now have an opportunity to enjoy some of Africa’s most iconic animals in the city of Nairobi and this will give us access to giant elephants and towering giraffes.
Spending our day at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphaned Trust will allow us to learn more about conservation efforts being made to protect these giants. We will then stop at the Giraffe Center, where you’ll find Rothschild Giraffes wandering the grounds.
Our last memorable experience will include a tour of the Kazuri beads women factory where women from the community are committed to making beads as a way to live sustainably. From here we’ll drive back to the hotel for dinner and the night in Nairobi.

After an early breakfast, your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Nairobi in the morning for a three hous drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The lake is home to sometimes over a million and a half, even two million fuchsia pink flamingoes, the greater and the lesser. A view of the pink mass from afar is truly amazing giving the lakes is fame as the greatest ornithological spectacle!
Lake Nakuru is home to wildlife such as the Kirk’s Dik Dik rock hyrax, colobus monkey, hippo, buffalo, waterbuck, striped hyena, the golden cat, Thomson’s and grant gazelle, Rothschild’s giraffe live here. Chances of seeing a leopar here are high as well as the tree-climbing lions.
Wooden and bushy grasslands surround the lake, a splendour of a grey-green forest of Euphorbia Candelabrum, and offer sanctuary to some of the world’s most endangered creatures, like the white and the black rhino.
All of this and a delicious picnic lunch somewhere in-between – a fantastic day in the park!
From your lodge you’ll enjoy remarkable views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding national park, alive with the call of birds and rich in wildlife. What better way to take it all in than from your lodge’s infinity pool.

Kenya’s Great Rift Valley is dotted with spectacular water bodies namely, Lake Bogoria, Lake Baringo, Lake Elementaita, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Lake Magadi. Of all the Great Rift Valley lakes, Lake Nakuru is possibly one of Kenya’s most famous ornithological spectacles. The lake is famous for images of brilliant flamingos rising from a glittering shoreline while the shadow of the Great Rift Valley commands its background.
Lakes Nakuru and Naivasha have been home to nature lovers creating countless documentaries and films. In the Happy Valley, it’s even more spectacular to see in real life the splendour of the Great Rift Valley. From the shores of the lake as you hear the gabble of flamingos and watch the buoyant pelicans swoop low over the water, the lake is beems with life in a spectacular way. Away from the water, these lakes are home to both big and small game that exist in wilderness areas. These lakes provide wonderful opportunities for not only enjoying the pelicans and flamingos but big game such as giraffes, zebras, buffalo, lion, rhino, and more.
Today, we head off to yet another Great Rift Valley lake. Our arrival at Lake Naivasha will be in the mid-morning where we’ll check in at the Kiangazi Lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit Elsamere, the former home of the writer Joy Adamson, whose 1960 book ‘Born Free’ helped bring wildlife conservation into the mainstream.
The house is a veritable museum dedicated to the works of Joy and George Adamson, with many photos of Elsa, the lioness that started it all. Embark on a boat trip on Lake Naivasha, the highest of all lakes in the Great Rift Valley and home to many a hippopotamus.
Later, enjoy a high tea lunch on the very grounds Joy cherished for so many years, with the lake as a serene backdrop.

Kiangazi House is an excellent option for travellers seeking a home-away-from-home in the beautiful Lake Naivasha area. Its location within a wildlife sanctuary makes for some superb wildlife safari experiences. Giving guests an opportunity to have free flowing day.
Game drives usually take place during mid-afternoon at the expansive Oserengoni Wildlife Sanctuary that covers over 7,000 hectares of savanna, acacia woodlands, and natuarl watre sources, and it links with Hell’s Gate National Park and the shores of Lake Naivasha via wildlife corridors.
Over 50 mammal species live within this marvelous sanctuary, including lion, leopard, serval, Grevy’s zebra, topi, impala, warthog, and lesser bushbaby.
Guests also have the option to venture into Hell’s Gate, which has an impressive range of predators and herbivores and where you can explore on foot, bike or vehicle.
Away from the main activities, a stay at the Kiangazi House allows guests to indulge into more rewarding safari activities.
Night drives
– Venture out after sunset in the African dusk, and you can look out for the nocturnal species of Oserengoni, among them Spring Hare, Aadvark, Leopard, Spotted Hyena, and Black-backed Jackal.
Birdwatching
– Lake Naivasha and its sorrounding is home to over 400 bird species, Oserengoni sanctuary is a dream destination for birders! Highlights include Grey-crested Helmetshrike, Long-crested Eagle, African Fish Eagle, Klaas’s Cuckoo, Black-backed Puffback, Secretary Bird just to mention a few. Further a field to Lakes Naivasha and Oloiden, you’ll enjoy sights of of waterbirds, not least pelicans, flamingo, herons, and kingfishers.
Guided Nature Walks
– Fancied by guests from all walks of life, our walks start out from the lodge during early morning. While on these guided walks, you’ll be accompanied by a knowledgeable naturalist and guide. The walks are ideal for anyone interested in close observation of the sanctuary’s plants, insects, and birdlife.
Boating Excursions
– A boat safari across Lake Naivasha is an ultimate way of appreciating the lake’s maany waterbirds, as well as hippos wallowing in the waters and other mammals quenching their thirst on the lake’s banks. It also offers the the best photography opportunities.
A visits to the Oserian Flower Farm
– Lake Naivasha is known for its horticultural activities and so is Oserian famous for being the biggest flower producer in Kenya, the local flower farm is well worth seeing if you have time!
Join a tour here, and you’ll be astounded by the variety and quantity of roses, carnations, sunflowers, and much more besides.

This morning you’ll leave Lake Naivasha and head off to the Maasai Mara. The approximate travel time is six hours. Head directly into the park for game viewing and then return to the camp for late check-in.
Please note that the first half of this drive will be on paved roads and the last half will be rough & bumpy roads but generally, the drive is still worth it. You’ll enjoy a box lunch while you on the way.
Enjoy the afternoon while appreciating an exciting game viewing experience. This afternoon, we’ll explore several wildlife hot spots with an aim to espy elusive animals such as the leopard.
These spotted cats blend almost seamlessly into the tall grass and shrubbery and are even more challenging to spot when in their favourite hangout, the trees.
Exploring the region, your guide will take you to nearby watering holes where on a hot day you’ll spot not only mammals but also mammals. After a thrilling afternoon game drive, you will be returned to camp in time to freshen up for a delicious dinner.

This is one of the best known and most iconic safari destinations in Africa, which offers some of the most stunning scenery and certainly the richest wildlife viewing in Kenya. The Maasai Mara is best known for its annual wildebeest migration that takes place during the June-October dry season. But the area also has a very rich range of resident wildlife and reliably produces great sightings year round. The Maasai Mara is well worth visiting at any time of year, ideally staying in two or three different spots over 4 to 9 nights.
The migration brings together between 1.5 to 2 million wildebeest alongside zebras and other wildlife who together, trek a total of 800 km or more during each migration cycle across Tanzania’s Serengeti and Kenya’s Maasai Mara in search of lush pasture and water. The term “Big 5” was first coined by big-game hunters as a way to acknowledge that these species were the most difficult and dangerous to track and hunt, however, in subsequent years the term has been adopted and re-purposed by the tourism industry and painted in patently positive light, focusing now on the preservation and protection of these magnificent creatures.
Alongside the Big 5, umerous other species of bird and wildlife call this dynamic habitat home. The lsi is endless from hyenas, gazelles, impalas, giraffes, zebras, vultures, cranes, eagles, falcons, and ostriches, many of which you’ll spot during our timeless wildlife drive through the expansive Maasai Mara National Reserve.
During these two days morning, afternoon and evening game drives will be at your disposal and we’ll leave this choice up to you! You will search for the Big 5 or expand your horizons to discover some of the regions lesser known animals and birds.

The opportunity to explore the local markets and shops presents itself today as so you can interact with the local vendors in search for the perfect handicraft or souvenir for yourself or your loved ones.
